Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Halifax, NS : Hybrid 3 days a week onsite
Note: Need mandatory experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (designing and developing APIs and integrations).
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead MuleSoft Developer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex integration solutions between various enterprise applications.
As the Lead Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and developing robust solutions utilizing MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to enable seamless data flow across systems.
You will lead a team of developers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration meets business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using MuleSoft
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop integration flows, APIs, and connectors using MuleSoft to connect with various enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, third-party systems).
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security in all integration solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MuleSoft features, capabilities, and integration technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
- Manage and monitor the end-to-end lifecycle of API development, from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies across all integration processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in and integration with other systems.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (designing and developing APIs and integrations).
- Experience leading a development team or mentoring junior developers.
- Strong experience in designing RESTful/SOAP APIs, data mapping, and MuleSoft DataWeave transformations.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft connectors for Salesforce, databases, web services, and other third-party applications.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect certification.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for Salesforce and MuleSoft deployments
